It is! But it’s everything I want in a vehicle. It’s basically a (heavier) WRX (okay, so it’s an Outback) with a (small) truck bed. It’s absolutely perfect.

I know. They seem pretty rare to begin with, and then you try to find one with a manual?! Good luck. Everything I see is $12k+. That’s a lot of dough...but I know what I’m saving for. It’ll be an admittedly weird classic, at least to me.

I miss it everyday. I only hope that the new owner did what he said he was going to do, and restore it. It was the cleanest one he could find. We paid $275 for it, and I used it as a farm truck/ATV. It was a blast. I wouldn’t have traded it for any of my friends ATV’s.

I hope that you get another one some day. When I think of them, I think of this:

Amen to that. I genuinely wonder how many of the turbos are on the road, and if they might appreciate in value eventually? Probably not, but I want one regardless.
